In Memory of Ziggy
My best friend closed his eyes last night,As his head was
in my hand.
The doctors said he was in pain, and it was hard for
him to stand.
The thoughts that scurried through my head, as I cradled
him in my arms.
Were of his younger, puppy years, And OH....his
many charms.
Today, there was no gentle nudge, with an intense "I love
you" gaze, Only a
heart that is filled with tears, Remembering our joy filled
days.
But an Angel just appeared to me, and he said, "You should
cry no more,
GOD also loves our canine friends, HE's installed a
"doggy-door"
I dedicate this page to Ziggy!!! We want everyone to know that
visits this website how special he was. When the call came that
ziggy had passed on, it was devastating. He had a wonderful home
in Tulsa, Oklahoma with a wonderful family, John O'Brien and
family. Ziggy was the life of the party. He went to everyone of his
Boys ball games. He was the wanna be mascot. He was a
dependable babysitter. The neighbors went on vacation, they left
their 4 poodles in the back yard with Ziggy. He watched them
closely. He loved his family.  I do believe he did get over the
chewing of telephone lines in his yard. He loved his family. He will
be truly missed by all. He loved playing ball with his family, going to
ball games, and entertaining everyone.  His neighbors, family, and
extended families will miss him always. My family is so saddened by
his death. I  know he had a wonderful home and family that loved
him as much as we did. He will be truly missed by all of us.
